THE RULES

General: 

Open to all fast street air-cooled Volkswagen enthusiast in Indonesia.
Open to Type I, Type III and Karmann Ghia from 1949 up to 1975.
Car must be capable of running at a maximum of 14.99 sec 1/4 mile for normally aspirated and 13.99 sec for turbocharged.
Applicants must get at least 75% of current member's approval to become a member.

Chassis/Body:

Must have a clean detailed look both outside and inside, especially under the deck lid. 
Car must be all steel body daily driven street car.
One piece windows are welcome but not mandatory. No tinted windows.
Must have a single color paintjob. Metallic colors are allowed.
Front suspension must be lowered but must retain a stock ride height at the rear.
No billet accessories are allowed outside the car.
No chop tops, shaved door handles or suicide doors.
All cars must have bumpers or T-Bars mounted.
Wheels must be painted. No polished wheels. 
Wheels are limited to original or Flat 4 BRM, Flat 4 Sprint Star, EMPI 5, Porsche 2.0, Porsche 911 or original steel wheels.
Tires must be fit inside fenders and low profile tires are not allowed. 
Engine must be a normally aspirated or turbocharged Type I up-right engine. No Nitrous!

 

"YOUNG PANZERS"

All fast street Volkswagen enthusiasts that like to join The PANZERS but not ready for a quarter mile run test, could become a what we called "Young PANZERS" by taking and pass the first category test (everything but a quarter mile test). All of Young PANZERS are eligible for an at least one year grace period to take a second category test which is quarter mile run test. Young PANZERS will not eligible for The PANZERS identity until they have passed the quarter mile run test.
